Well, I do think he's part right, though maybe not in the way others think


Here's what I said on another forum directly after the verdict.

"All of these proclamations are vastly overstated. The Chauvin trial is just one case where actions had consequences. How many civilians have American police officers slaughtered since Floyd was killed? I believe that number is in the dozens. This country has a long way to go before systemic overreach by law enforcement is reversed and we achieve anything resembling the motto to serve and protect. That motto has been a farce for as long as I have been alive and is not demonstrably moving in the right direction."
